Where would it be looked for?
Excel is fine for most things, but I think computing tax should either be done using specific software.

i understand that there is a specific software for that however, i dont have the budget to pay for it.. so im trying to do it in excel instead.
You haven't answered my question about where to look for the value.
You use a vlookup with a true =vlookup(a1,table, 3,true) make sure your tables are sorted and that allows you to do your look up if it falls in the range and not the exact value. Am I understanding your question correctly?
