Using Mailmerge to lables

I have an excel spreadsheet that I am using to do a mailmerge into word lables, I can manage the merge with text but on the excel sheet I have colum I that I fill each cell with a specific colour with conditional formatting, what I nned to do is when I merge to the lable I need that colour to fill a text box I have in my lable.

Does anyone know if this is possible?
