    Selective Formatting

    I'd like to format in bold only cells in a column that contain a B in them. For instance, 5B9776 would be bold and 4C4464P would not be. Any help is much appreciated.

    Re: Selective Formatting

    Hi
    Try this too:
    Sub makebold()
    Dim rcnt As Long

    rcnt = Range("A" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row

    For i = 1 To rcnt
    If InStr(1, Range("A" & i).Value, "B") > 0 Then
    Range("A" & i).Font.Bold = True
    End If
    Next
    End Sub
    Regards...

    Hi,

    You can use custom filter.
