How to populate cells next to a list selection

I have two worksheets, "Meals" and "Foods".

On the "Foods" worksheet have a list of individual food item names with a specified measurement and multiple fixed nutrition values for each food item (Protein, Carbs, Fat, Calories).

On the "Meals" worksheet I have a Meal column which is a selection list of the food items on "Foods" and a manually entered measurement column.

What I am trying to do is add nutrition value columns to "Meals" which will auto populate with the nutrition value for the selected food item from "Foods" and multiple it by the manually entered measurement.

I have attached an example of the two sheets with what I have so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the forum.

See the attached - yellow. Is this what you are looking for? I've done one item which indicates how it is calculated.

    Hey bebo021999 and Russell Dawson,

Thank you very much for the quick responses.

bebo, the formulas you provided are definitely what I was looking for by automatically updating the nutrition columns when I change the meal selection. The only issue I ran into was that when I entered measurement values higher than the fixed values on the 'Foods' sheet the nutrition number would decrease instead of increase. To solve this I swapped the division and multiplication placement changing the formula from

Doing this now correctly increases the nutrition values when I increase the measurements on the 'Meals' sheet.

Russell, while the formulas you provided were similar to what I was looking for they are fixed and would have to be manually updated each time I chose a different value under the Meal column. Thank your for taking the time to look at it and provide your input though.

Thank you both again for your time and responses.
