Selective drop down data depending on target cells' data - Help

Heya,

Bit of an odd one.
Working example:
If cell A1 contains the text "X" I want A2 to give me a dropdown with a list from range M1:M5.
If cell A1 contains the text "Z" I want A2 to give me a dropdown with a list from range P1:P7.
etc

I have tried combining an IF and VLookup function but I am not reeeeeeeeeally good enough to pull it off.
Any takers?
