    How to increase values incrementally

I need a formula which calculates the following -
So Row 1 are the Months
Row 2 are the values which neeed to be incremented.
Firstly the values (starting at 2) will be multiplied by 2 every 6 months upto the value of 16, then the values will be increased by 2 for every 3 months after that until it reaches 32.

    Please help.

Click GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to post up a workbook laying all this out visually. Be sure to present multiple examples if necessary to demonstrate all the variations in your real-world need.
