    How to find data with the help of VLOOKUP even though it is not exact match?

    Hi,

    In VLOOKUP the exact matches you can find it out but if is there any upper case lower case alphabets or any other small changes are there then it'll not catch those.

    so could any one please tel me is there any other method/ formula available.

    Try setting th elast parameter for exact match to False, e.g

    =VLOOKUP(D1,A1:B3,2,FALSE)

    New quick method:
    Select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Solved. To undo, select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Unsolved.

    Or you can use this way:

    How to mark a thread Solved
    Go to the first post
    Click edit
    Click Go Advanced
    Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
    Change to Solved
    Click Save
