Exclamation Excel 2003 to 2010-Columns Missing

I have this weird problem occuring from the time i shifted from 2003 to 2010.I have an .xls sheet with arounfd 25 columns and multiple worksheets. If i open the file in 2003,it opens perfectly fine but in 2010 only a limited number of columns are being displayed in all the worksheets.None of the columns are hidden and there are no panes frozen.I ve run through all the options available and could not figure out what is wrong.Has it got to do something with the 65,xxx character limit.? Or is it something else.Other smaller else open just fine.

It is hard to tell without seeing the workbook. I haven't heard of columns disappearing between versions, but I have seen some odd things. Try un-installing Excel 2010 and re-installing it. It might just be a bad install.

Also, double-check that the columns don't just have a very small width. I had a user the other day who claimed to have "hidden" some columns, but when I did Unhide, nothing showed up. It took a second to realize she hid the columns by simply reducing the column width.

    Whiz

I am pretty sure columns are not hidden as the column names are in order.

Update : I ve transferred the file to another system with 2003 and the same problem is repeating there

So you see all column letters/numbers, but the data you are expecting to see is missing columns, is that what you are saying?

What type of features/tools are you using in the workbook (e.g. Pivot Tables, data connections, macros, etc.)?
