Changing text font color in a cell...

Hi,
I'm trying to change the color of the font in "part" of the string of text I have in a cell.

In example: There's a number: 34756320.756 in a cell.

I'd like to manually edit the cell to have the "756" be RED.

I edit the cell (F2), select "756" with my cursor and it turns RED....then I hit RETURN to end edit and the three numbers go back to black again.

I don't have any conditional formating selected.

I looked online and can't find a solution....any thoughts are appreciated.
