    Re: Latest date within a conditional array...!!!

    maybe like this..
    H1==name:XYZ
    H2==ACt:Ia
    H3==Job:1011

    =max(if(and(H1=A1:A20,H2=E1:E20,H3=F1:F20),C1:C20) array formula

    if you could post a sample workbook so that we'll not retype your data's, better.
    I think people forget the word "THANK YOU!!!!" Do you still know it???

    Re: Latest date within a conditional array...!!!

    Hi

    To find the maximum date with these 3 criteria, use this Array formula(Control+Shift+Enter)

    =MAX(IF(A2:A100="XYZ";IF(B2:B100="IA";IF(C2:C100=393888;D2:E100))))

    Is it OK, for you?

    Edit: Change the semi colons, to comma, if you have to do it....

    Hi

    In your first post you asked for.

    ..For a given client, act, job...i need the latest date
    OR
    For a given client, act, job...i need the difference between BDSPDT - CLSDATE
    So, i suggested the first option...

    I;ll take a look your second question.
