hiding data and redoing calculations

I have a chart that cells reference another cell and cells with calculation within them in cluding rankings...
I would like to know if there is a way to hide a row of data and redo all the calculations over again

But not lose the line for further projects

ex...


if I can put an "X" in that first row , then that whole line would be excuded from the calculation of the table..
