    Setting up an "expiration date warning" conditional formatting

    Hola!

    So, my employees have a safety certification they need to work and said certification lasts one year. I need a way to track the expiration of these certifications.

    I've done a bit of work with conditional formatting and I'd love to find a way to make the employee's row "light up" or highlight itself when the certification is within 14 days of expiration.

    What would be the best way to go about this?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hola,

    Highlight the row and in conditional formatting...

    =$J1>=TODAY()-14

    With J1 holding the expiration date

    You could even put Today() in a cell on the worksheet and point to it instead on in the CF.

    =$J1>=$L$1-14

    NOTE: Sorry I did not notice this was in the Outlook forum. Are you doing this in Excel?

    Regards, Jeff

    Wow, no I'm a monkey and put it in the wrong section. This is being done in Excel.
