URGENT: How can I stop Excel from rounding up ?

Hi guys,

I want to enter a number, for instance : 1007.5728000000022 in a cell. Once done, Excel cuts it to 1007.5728. I don't mind if it does it in the cell itself, because it has to adjust to the cell size. But in the box, which is next to f(x), where the formula are normally entered, there it should NOT be cut to that value, I still want the exact value.

Right-clicking on the cell and going into Format, and changing the decimal value, doesn't fix my problem. This is only for the display I think. The stored value (the one I can see in the box next to f(x) is still cut to 1007.5728.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry for the "URGENT" but I have to submit this thing in a couple of minutes.

15 significant digits is the limit.

You could prefix the number with an apostrophe ', but this will return a string not a number.

Actually I just found an answer to my question as well. Setting the cell format to "Text" displays and stores the number exactly as it was entered, which is exactly what I wanted.
