need to copy the info from one cell if the info is different from the cells above.

I have a worksheet with various information on it, i need to take one column that has the different cities and copy one of each city that is listed into a new sheet into column A, so that I can then count how many times one city is listed into column B.
I have posted an example of what I am looking for the finished product to look like as well as what I currently have. I would like to have a formula that will take the information that is in Column A and if it is not already in Column B then insert it in the next available row.

Hi,

Sounds like you just need a Pivot Table. Select A:A in the sheet with your cities and then Insert>PivotTable>New Sheet. Add "City to the Row Labels and Count of City to the Values. Refresh the pivot table any time you add new cities.
