    Recognizing Names?

Working on a deal book, each month has several agents listed with different earnings. What kind of formula would I use to figure out how much each person earned based on the name?

AGENT NAME A. SPLIT O. SPLIT
    David 50.00% $0.00
    Kyle 50.00% $650.00
    Kyle 50.00% $862.50
    David 50.00% $752.00
    David 50.00% $648.00
    Kyle 50.00% $712.50

So I'd like it to add together the a. split for any row that has the name Kyle and get that 2225 total automatically.

    Try

    =SUMIF(A2:A7,G1,C2:C7) >> G1 = Kyle

    or

    =SUMIF(A2:A7,"Kyle",C2:C7)
    HTH
    Regards, Jeff
