Conditional Formatting - General prob & how to change colour of a cell if text is in it

    Hi,

I have two problems with conditional formatting.

    1) I'm trying to change the colour of text in L43 to red if any cells in P33:P41 go below a figure of 80. Yet the below is not working.

    =$P$33:$P$41<80
    2) I need to change the colour of the green box (L46:O54) to red if there is text present in it. I have looked on the net but can't find the appropriate function.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Many thanks

    Sam
