Unhappy How to save object as image in Excel 2010?

I created a simple logo for my Ebay invoices in Excel, using a couple of shapes and a text box layered on each other.

Now my problem is figuring out how to get the layers to 'stick' together so I can move it as one layer, and then to save *just* the image to be uploadable to my Ebay account. Ebay does not specify which file type I need, but I assume .jpg would work.

In the Drawing Tools > Format tab, the "Group" button that 'sticks' the layers together cannot be used, it is always diminished no matter what or how I highlight.

Okay I did successfully group the layers together, but still can't save just the image.

I found an Excel Add-in which is supposed to export objects: http://peltiertech.com/WordPress/enh...art-procedure/

But when I run it, it gives me an error message. I don't think it works with Excel 2010.

I've tried copying and pasting to other programs, but still can't figure how to save the image itself as a successful .PNG file.

I can't be the only person who's struggled with this. What's going on?
