How to add data to multiple cells without changing existing data.

    Hello,

I have about 150 cells, each with different info. I need to add the name "james" to each cell without changing the existing data. Is there a way to do this without pasting it into each cell individually?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Ok, Here is exactly what I want to do. There 8 work books, each for a different employee, that I need to compile into one work book. The cells I need to reference (sample listed below)are the same in each of the 8 work books. I need to do it for the whole year for each employee. I just need to change the workbook name I am referencing. for some reason when I try to use find and replace, excel wants me to save it as a new doc. So, I tried to just replace the name with blank and it did that. So now I have all the cell references and I just want to add each employee workbook link to the begining of each cell. I have a seperate worksheet for each employee.

'[Jame"s work.xls]stats JP'! to the begining of each cell ref.
