    Error with date formatting

    Afternoon,

I have quite a strange problem that I don't know how to fix! Basically I have a really long list of dates which I want to sort. They're all sorting fine except for a few at the end which no matter what cell format I change them to, do not act like the other dates. I extracted the data from a website so maybe that is something to do with it. dates error example.xlsx

I have attached the workbook as it's quite difficult to explain.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Alice

    Hey there,

Select column D and then right click and select format cells.

Under number select Date. Change the locale(location) to English U.S. and then select the *3/14/2001 option and select okay. Resort the data.

I think that some of the formatting was in Armenian.

Let me know if this works!

That still doesn't work I'm afraid.

It's like whatever formatting it has applied, I can't clear it!
