Excel 2007 : Drop Down Menu and percentage

Hi guys,

ok my problem is this.

I have around 180 cells in sheet 2 column D which i need to transfer in column B in sheet 1 as a drop down menu. Those 180 cells contain different words. In addition, in Column E in sheet 2 i have a corresponding percentage number for those words.

The problem is this: I need the 180 words in sheet 2, column D to be transfered in a drop down menu in sheet 1 column B BUT wheneer i choose a word from drop down menu, the corresponding percentage to be appeared in sheet 1 column E, just right next to my word from drop down menu.

Is this applicable?

I did it but nothing unfortunately. I might not given you what i exactly need.

Ok here's once again hoping i explain it to you better. I made some changes to be easier.

In column M (M2:M181) i have 180 words. In column N (N2:N181) i have corresponting percentage numbers for each word in column M.

Now in Cell C31 i made a drop down menu containing all words from column M. What i need is that whatever word i choose from drop down menu in cell C31, the corresponding percentage number from column N appears in cell D31.

Is that applicable?

Yes, this is possible.

But when you change cell F1 (sheet2) in my workbook, the value in G1 (sheet2) should change.

I tested it and it worked.

I use excel 2007 (but it also should work in excel 2003)

Your values work yes, i had a minor prob with my excel and had to restart.

Actually the one you sent works prety well but when i try it in my own with 180 words does not :S
