Deleting Unnecessary Lines

I've got a dumped list of lines in an Excel worksheet that looks like this:

Thomas Nichols
1456522...

Andrea Mirandez

I need a macro which I can run which will delete the 2nd and 3rd lines of this file (up to 4000 lines) down to the end of the listing. Basically, I want to KEEP the names, and delete everything else. The pattern stays consistent, but I'm not sure how long the file will be each time it dumps. I've seen macros that delete alternate lines from the bottom up, so the steps needed to determine the total number of rows in this file would be great too!
