Sumifs() with a greater/less than criteria?

In Row B is the model year of the entry, in yyyy format.

If its 2012 or earlier, it is EM (early model), if it is 2013, it is LM (late model)

What I need to do is sum the units based on several criteria, this being 1 of them. The rest are fine.

The code as it stands will work for 2012 or 2013, but it just ignores 2011, which Id like to count as EM.

In theory, nothing more than 2 years old should exist... so I could maybe hard code it to do an "or" for those 3 specific years. But theory and reality can part ways from time to time and you know a 2009 will pop up soon as I implement it, so Im wondering if a more robust option exists that would let it be more like

I dont think I can just toss a < sign in there and expect success though.

I actually caught your preedit and used that suggestiong, tossed a "<="& into the equation and it works perfectly! I dont really have any cause to limit the range of EM years, its highly unlikely it would ever arise that far back, but it could... Thank you for the prompt response and great advice.
