    VLOOKUP displays filtered data.

Using a macro, after filtering column B on some value (ABC, for example), I use a VLOOKUP on column C to display data from column D. However, If I enter a value from column C which has been filtered out and is not visible, I still get the value from column D. Is there any way out of that? I'm presently using code which deletes any rows which do not contain ABC in column B, but with 8000 rows it's a slow process (about 1.5 to 2 minutes). The filtering is instantaneous, and I'd prefer to use it. What are your suggestions? Thanks.

    Hi gsf314,

Vlookup picks the first value.. weather it's visible or not..
Do you need to avoid this ?
