Drop down list to call up table

Hi,

I am attempting to create a dropdown list would call its corresponding table found in a different sheet.

For example, if my list choices were Apple Pies, Chicken Soup, and Ham Sandwich, these three items would be found in the drop down list. When selected, the instructions on how to create these food choices would be called up, with the instructions found on a different sheet.

hi ajslf, welcome to the forum. in Sheet1 create your list of choices & instructions. Select A2:A4 & press CTRL + F3 to name the range. I'll name it FoodType for this eg. Go to Sheet2 & create the Data Validation. Allow: List. And Source = FoodType. see if this is what you need
