Excel 2007 : Merging/Joining two lists into one?

Hi all, I have two text files. Both contain just one column of names. I want to combine them into one list which has all unique names. Basically, i want to join them but remove duplicates. Any advice on how to achieve that would be great.

copy the data from both of this files to excel one below the other & the select remove duplicate from data tab.

this will give u the unique list.
