Sort Array Of Dates Into Single Column

I have some columns of dates and I need an automated way to sort the array of dates into one single column, ascending. Also, the column next to the newly sorted dates needs to have the column heading from which the date came from. In other words, each date should have the description right next to the date as follows.

    05-03-2010 Payment due
    05-04-2010 Default date
    05-25-2010 Payment received
    06-02-2010 Interest rate changed
    06-03-2010 Payment due
    06-05-2010 Interest rate changed

Can this be done without VBA. I've never written a line of VBA code. But if VBA is the only way, then i guess the time has come for me to learn VBA ASAP, like in two weeks.

The attached file will explain everything.
    Kind Thanks,
    Eddie

Wher, it's hard for me to imagine how skilled your brain is. Thank you sooooo much.

Protonleah, I bought a VBA book because I know I need it. I'm anxious to get to the point where I can tweak the code you wrote for me. THanks sooo much.

    y'all are amazing
