    Formula to separate a decimal number after the decimal point

    6/5/2012 12:10 - 6/12/2012 17:05 = 7.204861

    7 days and (.204861 x 24) = 5 hours


    I have a long list and I'm trying to use a formula to separtate the part after the decimal point to get the hours.

    when you subtract 6/5/2012 12:10 from 6/12/2012 17:05, the result (214.2048611) can be made to spit out the decimal portion thus:
