    print conditional formating

    Hi!

In Excel 2007 spreadsheet I have a simple table with data and I used conditional formating to draw border lines arond the data in a form "if there is data put border line, else no border". And it works fine, but this line is not shown on print preview, nor on the real printout. Why is that and how can I fix it.
    Thanks

    Hi,

You'll need to upload the workbook so that we can see the problem in context.
One thought, are you sure you are including the cells which contain the border in the range being printed?

I made a simple example file with the problem. So, the line made by conditional formating is there on the screen, but when I print the sheet out, there is no line.

    Re: print conditional formating

You have applied your formatting to the cells in column D and since they are blank column D won't be included in the Print range.

You can demonstrate this easily by putting a space character in D1 and then printing the sheet.
