How to populate random cells automatically from an excel db. . .

    Hi There,

I created a simple costing tool for my office assistants by which they do all our client quotations. I have a separate sheet in the workbook containing a table with all our client contact info. Is it at all possible to populate certain random cells in the workbook from the contact 'db' automatically with reference to a single client code?

What I would like to do is this:
    1. Enter the client code ie. 001BBM-30.
    2. After the client code is entered the applicable row in the Client info DB should be referenced to populate all the required cells in the Costing page and the Quotation.
    3. Obviously if a client code lower in the db table is entered that specific row should be referenced again to do the same.

Not sure if I make sense. . .?

    Hello
I've created a similar spreadsheet to that shown in your PDF file. The Database is an Excel Table, and I've created a Data Validation drop down list for the Client Code (cell L3). The JobSheet Tab uses the INDEX and MATCH functions along with Table references to return the values.

Hope this is what you're looking for.
