Help with VB to find and copy table data

    Hi all,

So I have an idea in my hand which I think in reality can be done. Though looking at it will need to be done in VB (Which I know a very limited amount about).

I have my raw data, of which I pull into a pivot table by a set criteria. I'm looking for a way to find out what 80% of my total number is and for all the titles and amounts within that 80%to automatically be populated in another sheet.

    All help would be appreciated.

    Many thanks,

    Scott

Do you have a sample file that you can upload, showing your pivot?

If your pivot is showing separately the top 80% v/s the 20%, then you can just double click on that amount(s) and you will get the sheet created. But will be able to help you better if you attach a file.

Re: Help with VB to find and copy table data

    Hi,

Thanks for your response, I have attached a spreadsheet.

my raw data being Sheet1 and my Pivot Table on Sheet2. I have worked out that 80% of the "Count of ticket time" is 17.6.

What I'm looking to do is from the row labels pull the top 80% across to Sheet3 with the Sum and Count of ticket time.workbook.xlsx

    Thanks

After looking at your data, I am not sure if there is a way of getting the 80% of your numbers.

But maybe someone else here can provide you a solution.
