Filtering data according to 2 criteria within rows

I'm using Excel 2003 and my data is currently setup like this (id, names, usernames, locale, etc are setup in one column, all data is setup in 2nd column):

    "id" 100002011110563,
    name Ali ALi Almafazy,
    first_name Ali,
    middle_name ALi,
    last_name Almafazy,
    link http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ALialmafazy,
    username ALialmafazy,
    gender male,
    locale en_US
    "id" 675756779,
    name Sheila Maggard,
    first_name Sheila,
    last_name Maggard,
    username sheila.maggard1,
    gender female,
    locale en_US
    "id" 100000067455342,
    name Bibek Aryal,
    first_name Bibek,
    last_name Aryal,
    gender male,
    locale en_US
    "id" 100000854397380,
    name Sarah Bedard,
    first_name Sarah,
    last_name Bedard,
    link http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/sarah.bedard.1232,
    username sarah.bedard.1232,
    gender female,
    locale fr_CA
Now I need to filter this data according to the locale and id rows. Obviously this would be A LOT easier if each identifier (name, gender, locale, etc) has their own column, but that's not how I obtain the data.

So far I have been able to filter the data according to locale, but auto filter only allows you to filter one identifier at a time. When I go to copy and paste the filtered data into a new worksheet, I can either paste the locale ONLY or "paste special" all the information, which when pasted, is not sorted out for me.

I really need help with this one, as I have been seeking information for the last week.

    Use text filters...

Use begins with locale or begins with "id" no.
    Life's a spreadsheet, Excel!

Ummmm....gonna need a bit more explanation on how to do this. Stating use of text filters doesn't really get me anywhere.

Depending on which version of Excel you are using refer section 'Using custom filters' under 'Use Advanced Filtering Techniques'

Really?? If I could understand and find the answer searching the help files in Excel, believe me, I would. Instead, I and many other posters on this forum, are requesting a bit more "customized help" to our excel problems.

Telling someone to look up a topic on Microsoft's website (I'm better off reading the excel manual), just isn't offering any help at all.

Thankfully, someone else from another excel forum solved this for me. The solution included some basic filtering and a few complex formulas. None of it had to do with advanced filtering using custom filter techniques.
