    Post Please help me with a formula to count result for a specific item from other coloumn.

    A coloumn has 2 items X & Y and B coloumn has their result in a form of Yes & No, I need count for X for Yes and No in a different cells similarly for Y as well

    With 2007 use COUNTIFS()

    Use
    For X
    =COUNTIFS(A:A,"X",B:B,"Yes")
    =COUNTIFS(A:A,"X",B:B,"No")
    For Y
    =COUNTIFS(A:A,"Y",B:B,"Yes")
    =COUNTIFS(A:A,"Y",B:B,"No")
