    Copying Conditional Format Rules

When I try to copy and Paste a conditional formatting rule to other cells in the same column, the row number only advances for the first cell then remains the same thereafter. Furthermore, the paste adds to the existing rules in the cells rather than simply replacing them. I can deal with the latter by clearing the cells first then pasting. But, the fist problem is driving me nuts!

    Re: Copying Conditional Format Rules

    Hi John,

    Welcome to the forum.

Since the row number advances only for the first cell hence not sure but try removing the $ sign from the conditional formatting and they try again.
Upload the sample file in case of any issues. thanks.
