Filtering one specific name in Excel 2010
I have been struggling in trying to find a way to pick or filter a one particular name from different sheets and put it in seperate sheet. what i would like to do is instead of going into each sheet and look into that particular name and what was his record on that day, i want to filter his record across all these sheets to be generated in a new sheet as a sort of tracking. taking in consideration that the name is not always on the same column. i hope someone can help with this case.
Not a lot to go on. Please post a sample workbook with some typical data.
I suspect the only way to do what you want is with VBA

Well sorry its actually an attendance sheet that i have recieved recently and was asked to track one staff's record of attendance.
