XIRR for non contiguous arrays

Hi all! Please help

XIRR demands two arrays of values - dates and corresponding values. I face the problem that i cant put all dates together and all values together. In fact, i have one column with all dates, but one, which is located aside, and another column with all values, but one, which is located aside. How can i overcome this? Any help will be much appreciated!

Have checked the net. 99% that xirr wont work with non contagious cells. The way to go is to use IRR and adjust it to provide the same result as XIRR. the concept is well explained on http://www.pcreview.co.uk/forums/re-...-t1032807.html. I'm closing the tread since this topic is highly discussed over the net. sorry for asking.
