How can I find a specific character (numeric) from a cell by position?

Cell A1 = 123456

Now I need to find each number in different cell. It may be
Cell A2 = 1
Cell A3 = 2
Cell A4 = 3
Cell A5 = 4
Cell A6 = 5

I am new in excel so any who can help I will be very grateful to him/her.
