Question Drop Downs & Names - How to remove underscores

    Hi all

I built a spreadsheet which is a travel voucher using lots of drop down lists by naming all of my lists and using data validation and the indirect reference.

The only issue is that I have had to name everything with underscores instead of spaces so that the 'name' function works. The problem is that when you select these items they don't look very nice with lots of underscores in.

Is there any way around this?

The selection in A1 could be Green Apples, you could name your ranges Green_Apples, and use (for the validation list source in B1) =INDIRECT(SUBSTITUTE(A1," ","_"))
