Pivot table exclude subtotal and total on one column

I have a simple pivot table with three columns: Date, Donor, Amount.
In any given month, I display month a count of unique donors, and total amount donated.
When I subtotal for the year and total over all years, it makes no sense to display the sum of count of donors.
There are only 20 unique donors so the line for one month can never exceed 20. However the subtotal for a year is displaying
the sum of counts by month. If for example there were 20 donors each month, it is saying there were 120 donors in a year when there were
    really only 20 unique donors.
Ideally I would like a total of unique donors for the year in the subtotal and a count of unique donors over the years in the total. (the total for the amount column are fine). If this can't be done how can I suppress the display of the sum of counts for the donor column.

    Thanks

    Hi Rjirak,

    Welcome to the forum.

Suggest you to upload a sample workbook with dummy data in pivot ... thanks.

    Here is the spreadsheet .
In this actual spreadsheet the numbers are actually 22 unique donors. As you can see it gives the correct numbers for each month(number of donors varies each month). But the pivot table is summing number of donors each month to get the yearly subtotal and grand total.

Sorry oeldere but that doesn't come close. I need a count of unique donors in addition to total amount.
