Keep page size the same when rows expand?

    Hello
Does anyone know of a simple way to maintain the physical size of a worksheet. I have attached a sample which might explain what I need. I use Excel to prepare quotes which are then printed. a typical quotation might be between 20 to 30 pages. If I have a long description then the rows wrap the text and I have to then delete a blank row to maintain the page size. this means that before printing or converting to pdf I have to work my way through each page and adjust it by deleting or adding rows to make the page size the same. I have tried highlighting all the tabs and recording a macro to adjust all the pages to 51 rows but because each page has increased by a different amount then for obvious reasons that was a disaster.
If anyone knows an easy way round this then I'd appreciate it.

    Cheers

    Mick

You could try unocking only the rowxcolumn size you want then locking the rest of the workbook to not allow any editing of those areas. Then set the print area and page breaks?

    Thanks for the reply smls.
Unfortunately even with a set limit of rows if there is more text than can fit in a single line then the page expands into 2 pages. I have tried setting the scaling to fit on 1 page high but the rest of the page gets narrower & Narrower. You have given me an idea for a different approach however.
What I need is a way to either make the rows merge if a specific No of characters have been exceeded or for the text to continue on the next row.

    Cheers

I have found a partial answer to this elsewhere, which moves the text to the next row when a set No of characters is reached. Can anyone help me stop it splitting words?

    Thanks
