I'm looking to search "DSI" from a cell in a list and counting how many there are, is there an easy way to do that?

DSI C
ABC
DFE
EFG DSI
Countif function = 2

=COUNTIF(A:A,"*DSI*")
or
=COUNTIF(A:A,"*" & D1 & "*") ... if cell D1 contains the text "DSI"
