Sheet or popup when cell selected

Greetings ...

I have a roster for staff that has a sheet per day.. and on each sheet there are 5 rows where jobs are entered. The sheets are read only for staff

What I would like is for staff to be able to select a particular job entry and then (open to options) to see a extra sheet or page which would contain more data.. and potentially also be able to edit the extra data

I guess I would need a control key to open the extra sheet.. but really looking for ideas
