Help Error: This File Contains Visual Basic macros. The Macros that have been disabled.

Need some help. I have a excel file I am working with that have VBA in it. I am running Excel 2011 on my Mac. The file works great for me. No error.

I email it to a fiend and he is running same version of excel but gets the "This File Contains Visual Basic macros. The Macros that have been disabled."

How do you stop excel from removing the macros. He wants to work with the sheet. Cannot find the security setting that is stoping the macros from working. Again he is using Mac Excel 2011 same version as I am.

go to tools then options then click security and then macro security. select low level from there
it will work

This in on a Macbook. I do not have options under tools.

look for the macro security in help etc.. that is the solution

Looks like VBA is not installed on his system. Trying to remove and reinstall office.
