Hello All
I want to sum up the number based on the unique values in another columns. For better under standing i have attached the screen shot. Where i want to sum up the numbers for Asia and Africa.
NOTE: the rows are dynamic (comming to excel using a software so they can be more or less based on the data in the back end)

Try something like:

If the number of rows will vary, might as well use the entire column reference
=SUMIF($B:$B,G6,$D:$D)
