    Graphing an Equation

I'm having a small problem graphing a linear equation. I understand how to do it when I have a set of data. But I don't know what to do when I have the equation. For example, if y=100+6x, I know the y-intercept and slope. Only knowing these, can I graph the line? I wold typically just get some points from the equation to make the line, but I think this might make my report a bit unorganized. Does anyone know what I can do? Thanks so much!!
