Sorting rows based on values in columns

Hello All,

Need some help on this one. Take a look at the example below.

Name Value 1 Value2 Value 3
Bill 1 99 87
Mark 4 15 99
Jen 2 24 77

How do I do this or something similar in excel where I can have the option to sort the rows based on the values in each column. For example, I want to be able to sort the names based on each of value 1, 2 or 3.

Am I missing something here? Isn't this a basic sort function using the Sort button on the toolbar? Please post back and we will be glad to help. Thank you.
