This is a re-post of one previously submitted earlier this year. I am positing the URL link. Based on the description in the rules, I don't think this is technically "cross-posting" since I am in the same forum.

I have a worksheet with a Table in it. I want to protect the sheet but still allow the users to access the table and add new rows to the table as needed without having to unprotect the sheet to do it. I've searched online and using the "help" function in Excel, but no luck. I tried unlocking the table while keeping the rest of the sheet protected along with allowing all users to be able to add rows, columns, with and without password. Still no luck. Is this something that can be done or is the nature of the Excel table incompatible with the worksheet protection feature.
Thanks,
Antoine
