Convert Excel 2003 to 2010 - Levels of Nesting

I have a workbook that I (stupidly) started as an Excel 97-2003 Workbook. I didn't realize I did this until I did an IF statement longer than 7 levels of nesting. I tried to save it as an "Excel Macro-Enabled Workbook" and as an "Excel Workbook"... but the levels of nesting is still being limited to 7. Should this be happening? Any ideas on how to fix it?

    Thank-you!

    Hi Lewej23,

No, assuming 2010 is the same as 2007, the level of nesting is 64.

Close and re-open the workbook and try again as Excel will then realise that the workbook is indeed saved in the current version (a sign that you've done the process correctly is that the "[Compatibility Mode]" flag that forms part of the filename will have disappeared).

    HTH

Bit hard considering I'm in Australia and you're in the USA - but thanks anyway!! I'm glad to know we got it sorted for you.

The only 2 places outside the USA I've been is Ireland & Northern Ireland. Unless you count the 2 times that I was at the Canadian border.
So, no, I've never been to Oz...
