Tricky formatting in an Export File (Amadeus)

    Hi everyone,

I downloaded this file from the Business database Amadeus, it is the Financial Statements for a company. I have to do some calculations for around 30 of these.

I copied and pasted into Sheet 2 to do some calculations, but as you can see it is full of merged cells. I tried deleting some columns manually (can't select various as it selects the whole Spreadhseet).

This is problematic because I am doing some formulas (rows 38 and 40) and I had to do each one manually. I did it for this sheet but I can;t go like that for 30 different companies! Plus htere will be many more calculations!

Can anybody help me to get this into a normal format (eg unmerging cells) while conserving all the data?

Many thanks it would be great if so!

    Daniel

PS I realize that you may get a message saying that a problem has been detected with the file (hopefully not). I promise that Amadeus is a trusted source (you can google them) and the file will not harm your computer.

Not easy unless you can get the text format or you can ensure that they all look exactly the same. If so, then you can record a macro cleaning up one of them manually and then just run the macro on all the others you download.
