    [b]Possible to extract this complicated partial data in Excel?[b]

    I need to extract partial contents of a cell..I have an Excel spreadsheet that contains around 1500 entries per month & i need to manage it please anyone can help me how i can extract these data in this format-

    1. Customer No. (In Red Color)
    2. Customer Name (In Red Color)
    3. Shop Name (In Red Color)

    I dont need rest of the data just want to extract data in red, i tried alot using left/right/mid functions but all data in cells are not same somewhere name goes large & some where shop name..
    i hope i can get help here....

    Have you tried using Text to Columns? You can set it to separate by spaces, commas, or both depending on what you're looking for. That seems like it would fit your needs.

    Yes i have tried text to columns...but it isnt working for me cell contains large text they get extracted to next columns after that i have to rearrange all

    Yes this is what i want...& thanks how u did that ? i need to understand that formula...i hope it will work for all cells without any problem. & why it is not working for H15 that coloumn is showing Value ??

    Text to columns is the easiest way using space as delimiter - In the last window you can choose to not import the unnecessary columns, leaving you with what you want

    Based on your last post it seems that you are satisfied with the solution(s) you've received but you haven't marked your thread as SOLVED.
