Cloud Storage Excel File Does Not Download

    Hello each one and all!

I'm a ten-minute veteran of this forum and a long-time veteran and admirer of MS Excel.
Last weekend I posted a link to an Excel file in the clouds on another forum. Here are the links:

Forum and 25 MByte Excel in the Clouds

People have tried to download it and could not. It looked to them to be corrupt. I tried it myself and encountered no problems.

I’m on this forum to find out if anyone else has experienced similar Excel behavior and/or has any clues as to what may be going on.

Any and all assistance will be greatly appreciated! Thank you and…

Hi danleonida and welcome to the forum,

I was able to download and view the file at your second link above.
I'm using Excel 2010 on a PC. I wonder if others are trying to open it using Open Office instead of MS Excel?
One test is worth a thousand opinions.

    Thank you MarvinP!

The file was developed in both Excel and OpenOffice. I went through quite a bit of work to ensure all links worked in both. OpenOffice can open dot-xls but is NOT fully compatible. Charts and links suffer the most in my experience.

If the issue has to do with trying to open in the wrong spreadshee, then it must have been Mac!

    Thx. again and...
